About Vibrant Violins
Experience
Biography
I am pleased to offer the community of Coeur d’Alene, Spokane and outlying areas my skills as a violinist. I lived in Spokane about 32 years, then moved to Coeur d’Alene in 2017 and now I am enthusiastically committing my talents to my beautiful community. I enjoy playing at parties, business dinners and any other gathering benefiting from background music.
I am a classically trained violinist who has played in numerous symphonies, the most recent being the Gonzaga Symphony under the direction of Kevin Hekmatpanah. I played first violin for 14 seasons with the Gonzaga Symphony and also soloed with the concertmaster in a performance of Bach’s Double Violin Concerto. I ventured from that experience into playing violin and some fiddle with a band who performed for 10 years around the Spokane area. I gladly have sat in recording sessions with a variety of artists, laying down violin tracks which I have written to compliment the song or songs. Those efforts have been very well received. My latest venture is learning and performing jazz. I also play improvisation solos and harmonies with an accomplished group of musicians every Tuesday evening at a church where we lead in contemporary worship music.
I play numbers from a variety of styles, namely, classical, jazz, pop and easy listening. Most if not all of the songs I perform, are recognized as commonly heard and loved melodies. I am very careful in every venue, to gauge my volume according to crowd and room size so as to create a pleasing but non-intrusive musical background for your event.
I am hoping that you will consider me as an entertainer for your venue be it a restaurant, supper club or your own personal special event. I aim to please as a performer, and I believe I bring a polished level of skill, expertise and variety to the table.
